The new album “Löwenherz” including the hit single “Born to love you” will be in stores from June 2014. The second single release “You must be an angel” will be available in stores from August 15, 2014.
Born to sing could well be the life motto of the Austrian singer Nik P., who made his way into the history books of the charts with “A Star (…that bears your name)”, one of the longest-lasting and most successful singles of all time immortalized throughout the entire German-speaking region.
In Germany alone, his magnificent hit was on the hit lists for more than two years. An evergreen that touched all generations of music fans. However, this success, which earned him the Echo for Hit of the Year in 2008, never went to his head. Nik P. is simply too down-to-earth for that, a musician for whom composing is simply in his blood. This passionate stage artist always gives his all and knows how to enjoy all the feelings of happiness that he creates in his fans at every concert. It is this passion that continues to inspire him to reach new heights even at the age of 52.
With his new album “Löwenherz”, Nik P. returns to his old virtues after “Bis ans Meer”, a very personal singer-songwriter album that gave him one of his most atypical hits to date with “Berlin”.
With the first single from the new album, “Born to love you”, with “When your heart comes home” or the lively “Turn with you”, Nik P. will certainly succeed in storming the charts once again. For Nik P., “Löwenherz” is a conscious return to his old strength: “I orientated myself a little on my old great successes and tried to write songs again with the same ease as I wrote them back then.
