Under this motto, the Smokie Revival Band offers a special kind of concert experience.
Lead singer Matthias Beringer, who became Smokie singer Alan Barton’s successor by a whisker after his death, founded the band together with drummer Armin Scherf.
Having now matured into a top act on a par with the original, the band inspires audiences even on an international level.
This results in joint events with well-known stars, they work with Ricky Gee (Smokie’s former tour manager and sound engineer) and they have also been on stage with Smokie’s original guitarist – there can hardly be a greater award.
Since they have been Smokie fans since their youth, they don’t just have the big hits of their idols with them.
Pieces that Smokie themselves never played live are also presented. An unforgettable experience for all ‘real fans’.
With a lot of heart and soul and titles like ‘Oh Carol’, ‘Mexican Girl’, ‘Lay back in the arms of someone’ and – not forgetting – ‘Living next door to Alice’, they take a journey through time together with the audience and awaken them in the process a wide variety of (youth) memories.
