A firework of good mood

There is music that creates immensely positive feelings the first time you hear it and does exactly what music should achieve in its best moments. The Zaragoza Band has set this goal from the beginning.

These musicians allow their fans to forget the worries of everyday life with their uninhibited joy of playing and lightheartedness. Their musical trademark is a South American feeling that they have processed into melodic songs with pop and rock elements.

Since 1977, the Saragossa Band has been getting every party going and quickly perk up even the most tired of every age group. Their story began in Munich, the melting pot of the international pop scene. Thanks to their rousing live shows, the Saragossa Band quickly became the center of attention at galas, open air events, festival tents and discos. During one of their performances, producer Anthony Monn, who also worked with Amanda Lear and Fancy as well as Al Bano and Romina Power, recognized the formation’s enormous potential for success and took charge of it.

Since that day it has been raining sunny hits. The debut single “Big Bamboo”, written in the tongue-twisting Papiamento dialect of the Caribbean, swept through discos and international hit parades like a tornado. The follow-ups “Disco Boogie Boogie” and “Malaika” also swept the audience off their feet as first-class pick-me-ups. With “Rasta Man”, “Zabadak” and countless other hits, the Zaragoza band finally conquered the hearts of the nation, and not only in Germany they were one of the most successful bands.

For years the musicians have been spending most of their time on the road. Their albums achieved gold status and the tour calendar was hopelessly fully booked.
