Now Andy is back with his Daydreamer project.
Andy was born in Munich – grew up on Lake Chiemsee.

The Band Daydreamers (The Original)
It all started with the first album TOO MUCH IS NOT ENOUGH, which was released in 2001 by Sony Music (Berlin Records). At this time there was also the first Grand Prix appearance with the cult song DREAMS AND HOPES. This title was considered an insider tip at the contest and made it straight to the top ranks.
After that, there was a lot of live presence from Andy Jonas’ Daydreamer for years.
Then 2003: The new daydreamer album OPEN THE EYES at Koch Universal. At this time, daydreamers appeared again at the Grand Prix. Only a few votes were missing to win the preliminary vote.
Four tracks from the album were in the top four of the German-language charts.
This was followed by an extensive media presence at the “Summer Festival of Folk Music”, “Big Brother TV”, “Carmen Nebel” and, among others, “Deutschland sucht den Hit des Jahrhundertens”. Here Andy sang the title “CAPRI FISCHER” by his grandfather Rudi Schuricke.
Many concerts, tours, live shows, etc. came after that…
Unfortunately, Andy had to take a long break from 2009 for various reasons. But Dayträumer never really went away and the band’s success took on a life of its own over the years – e.g. B. on YouTube.
Since this turbulent time, Andy has also been actively involved in organ donation and graduated in 2010 with a degree in media education (FH). He also founded the label WEST7.
During the longer break that Andy had to take, the band’s fans and lovers discovered the daydreaming songs even more. Songs like VERLIEBT, which was never a single, have now achieved over 750,000 views on YouTube – without any promotion.
Reason enough for a wonderful new album that will be ready in 2015 and will be called “Little Heroes” after Andy spent a turbulent time live on stage in 2012 together with the singer Sandra as a male voice. B. for songs like “Maria Magdalena” in Eastern Europe.
Additionally, Andy Jonas is currently on the international charts with the track DRIVE, a cover version of the band’s number 1 hit The Cars, alongside his old friend Chris Le Blanc!
Little Heroes – the new album
Andy: “We have now recorded a lot of new songs in Stockholm and put some of the daydreaming highlights into a new modern guise (DREAMING AND HOPE, IN LOVE) – plus the Swedish “hit of the year” discovered there in Sweden (“LIKE THE WIND – I could dream with you”) as well as some brand new titles (e.g. “Damn I miss you”, “Stranded”).”
The single VERLIEBT immediately reached the TOP 100 of the radio charts.
Now follows the brand new and great single LET THE SUMMER INTO YOUR HEART. A wonderful and touching song… recorded in Tuscany, produced in Sweden.
Authentic German pop redefined… and an absolute musical highlight!

SUCH LOVE ONLY EXISTS ONCE was written by James Last for Rudi Schurike and is LIVE a song with a lot of feeling and emotions.
